Lawrence Blake

Hinesville – Lawrence Lee Blake, 63, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 at his home under the care of his family and Georgia Hospice Care.  He was born in Cleveland, OH and had lived in Ohio most of his life, moving to Liberty County four years ago.  He was a retired police officer having served 25 years with East Lake Ohio P.D. and was dedicated to his profession.  He was a member of A New Beginning Church in Ludowici.

Survivors are his wife of 45 years, Sherry Blake of Hinesville; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Allan and Brian of Cleveland, OH; son and daughter-in-law, Brian Blake and Mary of Ludowici; sisters, Abby, Sandy, and Bonnie; brothers, Tommy and Ronnie, all of Ohio; five grandchildren, Vannessa, Brett, Alex, Ashley, and Jillian; one great-grandson, Carter; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 24 from 2-4 PM at A New Beginning Church.

Final services will be in Ohio.
