Jesup – Jesse Harold Brantley, 73, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018. He was born in Wrightsville and had lived in Wayne County most of his life. He served as a deputy sheriff for the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, retiring after 20 years of service. He was an outdoorsman who loved to fish and enjoyed mechanic work on his cars. He attended the Church of God.
Survivors are his wife of 24 years, Patti Brantley of Jesup; sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Carrie Brantley, Chris and Alisha Brantley, Phillip and Rebecca Brantley all of Jesup and Tim and Angela Brantley of Odum.; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Fozayal Hague of NY; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and David Allen of Cochran; grandchildren, Shelby, Kaitlyn, Chazz, Courtney, Dannie, Kell, Cadence, Judah, Allie, Quinn, Waqia, Sakina, and Hud.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 1 at 2 PM at Spring Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Cowart officiating.
Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
