Janis Finley Obituary

Ludowici – Janis Lea Finley, 63, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Jesup Healthcare. She was a native of Casper, WY and had lived in Long County for 22 years. She was a US Navy veteran, a homemaker, and a former volunteer leader with the Girl Scouts. She was a member of A New Beginning Church and was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Herman Garriott.

Survivors are her companion, Matt Daniels of Ludowici; daughters, Kathaleen Dwyer-Scott of Hinesville, Kristine Jackson of Riceboro, and Keri Wiltshire of Ludowici; son, Daniel Dwyer, IV of Ludowici; sister, Marsha Stebbins of Eugene, OR; brother, Timothy Garriott of Casper, WY; 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 4 at 10 AM at A New Beginning Church. Entombment will be later in the Georgia Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.
