Ludowici – Diana M. Willis, 76, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in the Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville. Born in Tampa, FL, she had lived most of her life in Live Oak, FL until moving to Ludowici in 2005. She graduated from college and began her teaching career in the Bahamas, later teaching in Suwannee County, Live Oak FL until retiring. Before retirement, she completed her doctoral program at Nova Southern University. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Ludowici First Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Kelly Willis.
Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, James Willis and Stephanie of Ludowici, Lee Willis and Amanda of Live Oak, FL, and Cleve Willis of Branford, FL; grandchildren, Miranda (Brad), Courtney (Bryan), Randy, Amber, Brandon, Candace, Alan, Ian, and Olivia.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 30 at 11 AM in the chapel of Howard Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Rentz officiating. Burial will follow in the Baggs Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the chapel.
Active pallbearers will be Ian Willis, Brandon Willis, Alan Willis, Randy Sikes, Bryan Johnson, Brad Snow, and Noah DeLoach.
