Dennis Adams

Screven – Dennis Dallon Adams, 72, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at his home under the care of his family and Georgia Hospice Care.  He was born in Odum and lived in Wayne Count most of his life. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War retiring after 22 years of service.  He also retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections.

Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Linda Cribbs Adams; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis “Denny” Adams, II and Heidi, Warner Adams, and Jason Adams all of Screven, and Zachery Adams and Madison of Brunswick; sisters, Jeanette Sapp of Jesup and Geneva Cason of Surrency; brother, Bennie Adams of Indiana; grandchildren, Savannah (Caleb), Trey, Aldon, Knoxx, and Harrison; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, November 30 from 6-8 PM at Howard Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 1 at 11 AM at the funeral home chapel with David Simmons officiating.

Burial with military honors will follow in the Strickland Cemetery in Patterson.
