David Cordova-Vela Obituary

Jesup – David Cordova-Vela, 41, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018. He was born in Mexico and lived in Georgia most of his life. He was a Catholic.

Survivors are his parents, Maria Vela of Texas and Samuel Cordova of Mexico; sisters, Maria Rosario Caldera, Adela Nevarez, and Margarita Cordova all of Jesup, Matilde Rodriguez of Texas, Maria De Los Angeles Cordova of Rome, and Dalila Cordova of Brunswick; brothers, Samuel Cordova of Texas, Juan Cordova of Brunswick, and Santos Cordova of Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 27 at 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Adam Kasela officiating. Burial will follow in Glennville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
