Darien – Danny Carroll Smith, 54, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick. Born in Hollywood, FL, he had lived in Rhine for many years moving to Darien five years ago. He had worked in the construction field many years and was a jack of all trades. He attended Eulonia Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors are his wife, Betty Stilwell Smith of Darien; sons, Scotty Smith of Rochelle, Jeremy Smith of Townsend, and Joey Smith of Darien; brothers, Willie Smith, Jr. and James Smith of Cordele; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rev. Danny Stilwell and Takela of Townsend; grandchildren, Georgia Smith, Emily Smith and Wyatt Van Overveke; faithful K-9 companion, “Tootsie” Smith.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 6 at 2 PM at Eulonia Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Danny Stilwell and Rev. Bobby Stilwell officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
