Daniel Lawrence Phillippe

Daniel Lawrence Phillippe, 35, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Rocky Mount, VA and had lived in Long County since 2015.  He was retired as an infantryman from the US Army and had served as a recreation league coaching various sports for the Long County Rec. Dept.  He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, theme parks, and thrill rides and was an amazing father who adored his children.  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Long County.

Survivors are his wife, Lisa Phillippe of Ludowici; daughters, Abigail Phillippe, Poppy Phillippe, and Makenzie Wallace all of Ludowici; sons, Kaleb Phillippe, Cooper Philippe, Benjamin Paad and Alex Baughman all of Ludowici; parents, Angela Ashby and Steve of Ferrum, VA; sister, Rebecca Ashby of Roanoke, VA; brothers, David Phillippe and Derrick Phillippe of Ferrum, VA and Joe Ashby of Roanoke, VA; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 30 at 4 PM at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Massey officiating.
