Carl Dicks Obituary

Darien – Carl Hubert Dicks, 34, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Memorial Health in Savannah due to injuries sustained in an accident. He was born in Brunswick and lived in McIntosh County most of his life. He was a laborer and had worked at Sea Gardens. He was a member of Glory Worship Center in Darien.

Survivors are his parents, Barbara Hill of Jesup and Skeeter Dicks and Cindy of Darien; sister and brother-in-law, Kim Yarbrough and Clyde of Brantley; brothers, B. J. Israel and David Israel; paternal grandmother, Mary DeLong all of Darien; step-sister, Linda Wise of Alabama; step-brothers, William Varnadore and wife Nikki of Memphis, TN, Michael Varnadore of Darien and Danny Varnadore of Charleston, SC; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 28 at 11 AM at Glory Worship Center in Darien with Dr. Lee Brandt officiating. Burial will follow in St. Andrews Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
