Hinesville – Anna Marie Wells Huerd, 50, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 in Hinesville. She was born in Frankfort, Germany to military parents and had lived in Liberty County most of her life. She graduated from Bradwell Institute Class of 1986 and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Mercer University. She taught mostly math and science and then Special Education in Long County until retiring due to failing health. She was Baptist by faith.
Survivors are her daughters and son-in-law, Dr. Ashley Huerd of Savannah, Brandi and Patrick Eastlake of Hinesville, and Lily-Ann Huerd of Richmond Hill; parents, Gladys and John Ensling of Hinesville and William Wells of Glennville; brothers and sister-in-law, Edward and Lori Wells of Richmond Hill and Doug Wells of Hinesville; two grandsons, Jackson and Brayden Eastlake of Hinesville; several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 27 at 11 AM at First Baptist Ludowici with Rev. Eric Rentz officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
